I will never go to this branch again just to be disrespected based on the color of my skin!!!! They have all the check information, but won't say what happened to my check! I have to now tell the payroll department at my place of employment to issue me a new check. I never had any problems until I went to this branch. I can't even pay my car note! This is unacceptable and I thought they were a good bank. They haven't reached out to me, nor gave me any further assistance. I deposited my paycheck, checked my account for the balance and found out the TELLER NEVER DEPOSITED MY CHECK! This has been a nightmare!The manager reviewed the tape from that day and saw me there with the teller. They handed me a paper with a 1800 number and told me to call and they would help me. I left and went to another Chase bank in Sunrise Fl- There were only 2 employees at the bank- I asked where was everyone- They called out sick I was told. At 3:30pmThe security guard asked if I needed help- I asked him where are all the bank employees? There was an incident - and noone is here. There was one bank teller and the security guard. Move your money to a local credit union that cares about their customers. Her second resolution is to just call a 800 number and make a complaint. On 8/25 access to the safe deposit box was denied at the Pearl River brand despite all this and told remotely drilling the box was not possible and the agent needs to fly across the country again to close the box.īranch manager, Kanchan Kapur, has a negative attitude, lacks flexibility, customer service skills, and empathy regarding this situation. The agent has had access to transaction accounts on the Chase account since late June. Since 6/29 the POA was presented in-person to another Chase branch in our home state and in-branch forms were filled out and notarized to allow agent access to accounts. The Pearl River branch was presented all needed ID, original POA, and the key 8/25. The box owner is a 91 yo long-time client that has had to relocate out of area for surgery and long-term care for wounds and dementia and cannot travel into the branch. Doesn’t Comply with NY Banking Law, Bad Customer Serviceīranch does not follow NY state banking law section 333 in regard to accessing safe deposit boxes with valid a POA that specifically states it allows the agent to access safe deposit boxes. ![]()
